Product Overview
| Description | Annexin A9 (ANXA9), otherwise known as ANXA31 and pemphaxin, is a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein and member of the annexin family, expressed by stratified squamous skin epithelium, which may act as a low affinity receptor for acetylcholine. ANXA9 is a target molecule for autoantibodies in patients with the chronic autoimmune skin disease pemphigus vulgaris, characterised by epidermal blisters resulting from the loss of cell-cell adhesion. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to 6xHis-tagged ANXA9 expressed in E. coli. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Molecular Weight: ~29.3kD Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
