Product Overview
| Description | The expression of BAX is upregulated by the tumor suppressor protein p53, and BAX has been shown to be involved in p53-mediated apoptosis. It is suspected to be upregulated and catalyze cell death in the onset aof Alzheimer’s Disease. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa38-171 of mouse BAX, a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain, expressed in E. coli. Endotoxin: ~0.1ng/ug (IEU/ug) Applications: Suitable for use as an Input marker or positive control for Western Blot and for Function studies (binding assays). Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
