| Description | CD266, otherwise known as TWEAK-R, is a member of the TNF family, highly expressed in the heart, placenta and kidneys, which acts as a receptor for TWEAK (TNF-like weak inducer of apoptosis), and can weakly induce apoptosis in some cell types. CD266 is co-expressed with CD255 in several cell types, and expression is upregulated in response to particular cytokines and physical damage. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to human CD266 expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~5.6kD Applications: Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Endotoxin: <1EU/ug Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
