| Description | A natural metabolite produced by genus Chaetomium. Acts as an inhibitor of HIF-1 formation by disrupting the binding of p300 to both HIF-1a and HIF-2a. Histone H3K9 methyltransferases G9a and Suv39h inhibitor. Also acts as an immunosuppressant. Solubility: DMSO Molecular Weight: ~710.87 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
