Product Overview
| Description | COTL1 is one of the numerous actin-binding proteins which regulate the actin cytoskeleton. This protein binds F-actin, and also interacts with 5-lipoxygenase, which is the first committed enzyme in leukotriene biosynthesis. COTL1 Binds to F-actin in a calcium-independent manner and has no direct effect on actin depolymerization. Recombinant human COTL1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminal domain, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa1-142 from human COTL1, fused to His-tag at N-terminal domain, expressed in E.coli.
