| Description | Endotoxin Removal Solution (ERS) is suitable for column, microconcentrator and fermentation cleaning. This is the same formulation as E3202, but includes a phenol red indicator to readily visualize lab and equipment surfaces. Features: Depyrogenation takes minutes No NaOH necessary Extends the life of Protein A columns Removes all traces of lipids and LPS Dissolves and desegregates LPS micelles Supplied as a 4X concentrate with indicator Traceable down to 4x10e-13g/ml using absorption at 270nm which provides a convenient method of detecting potential residuals Endotoxin Removal Capacity: Will remove 50,000EU/cm2 of dried endotoxin from microwell surfaces and render them negative to a LAL test. Simple Protocol: Microconcentrator Columns: Step 1 – Fill all parts of columns with 0.4X Endotoxin Cleaning Solution. Step 2 – Incubate at RT for 1 hour. Step 3 – Decant Endotoxin Cleaning Solution and rinse all surfaces three times with pyrogen-free water. Step 4 – Fill sample reservoirs with pyrogen-free water and centrifuge according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Step 5 – Measure absorbance A205nm until the rinse water is the same as the pyrogen-free water, repeating as often as necessary. Storage and Stability: For long-term storage, aliquot and store at RT. Handle and store under inert gas. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. |
