| Description | MIA belongs to the MIA/OTOR family and contains 1 SH3 domain. This protein elicits growth inhibition on melanoma cells in vitro as well as some other neuroectodermal tumors, including gliomas. Source: Recombinant corresponding to aa25-131 from human MIA protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~14.4kD (128aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
