| Description | Protein A from Staphylococcus aureus is a selective Fc binding protein which is capable to bind mammalian immunoglobulins (mainly IgG). Capacity: When protein A is bound to gel (2.5mg/ml) the binding capacity is 12-19mg of human IgG/ml or 2-15mg of mouse IgG/ml of settled gel. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
