| Description | Pullulanase is precipitated by solvents and/or crystallized from the culture fluid of Aerobacter aerogenes ATCC 9621. The enzyme hydrolyzes the a-1, 6-glucosidic linkages in pullulan, amylopectin, glycogen, etc. The enzyme is used for manufacture of glucose, maltose, etc. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
